We believe everyone has the right to warm and affordable homes whilst studying at Swansea University.

Check out energy advice from SOS-UK to make sure you're not paying too much for your energy and have a warm and efficient home.

Issues in your House or Flat?

Put it in writing

Always make sure you communicate in writing with your landlord or letting agent. This can be via email or messages, as it gives you a record of what’s been said.

If you speak to them in person or over the phone, follow up with an email summarising the conversation and ask them to confirm what was agreed. This creates a paper trail in case there are problems later.

Have a Problem?

If you have an issue with your landlord or letting agent and they are not listening or refusing to help,  get in touch with us we are here to support you. Common issues include:

  • Housing disrepair,
  • Rent increases,
  • Utility problems.

Letting agents and landlords are required to follow a formal complaints process—and we can guide you through it step by step.
