Withdrawing Money from a Student Group

How do I withdraw a float?

There may be instances where you need a cash float (a till) to give change to members, such as for ticket sales on the door of a showcase. You must receive authorisation from the Sports Officer / Societies & Services Officer before taking the float and the value of it shall be determined on an individual basis. You can then collect this float from Students' Union's finance office. The exact amount taken must be returned to your account as soon as possible.

In most cases, if you require your group's money to pay for something you should either pay for it up front to be reimbursed, or get an invoice from a supplier. These should be processed via SGF.
