So, What do you get out of being a rep?

  • Firstly, by being a Rep you have the chance to make a real impact and improve the student experience for you and others.
  • It's a great experience for you to learn and develop important skills like: teamwork, professionalism and organisation. This experience looks great on your CV and will appeal to future employers.
  • There are wider opportunities within the University! You may be asked to sit on feedback panels, become a member of the Student Reviewer Community . These provide further opportunities to develop your skills and improve your CV.
  • You may receive discounts to SU events such as Summer Ball and receive early access to SU event tickets.
  • There are many networking opportunities throughout the year, this gives you the chance to meet many experienced staff and peers who may be able to help you with your future aspirations.
  • Finally, there will be a few socials and giveaways throughout the year.
