One of the first and most important events of the year is our exciting and vibrant Freshers’ Fayre run by Swansea University Students' Union- your ultimate introduction to campus life and the diverse world of student opportunities. Whether you’re a new student eager to dive into university life or simply looking to explore all that Swansea University has to offer, this event is the perfect way to kick-start your university journey.   

The SU Freshers Fayre is a dynamic and bustling event that brings together students, societies, sports clubs, academic support services and local businesses all under one roof (the Sports Hall).  

As you step into the venue, you’ll be greeted by stalls and booths filled with individuals representing student groups, student support services and local businesses. With 56 Sports clubs and over 150 societies, there is something for everyone. Freshers Fayre is your chance to chat to committee members, explore old and new hobbies, meet like-minded people, and immerse yourself in the dynamic Swansea University community.  

Feel free to speak to committee members who will be more than happy to introduce you to their group’s activities and events. From Canoe to Cheerleading to Wild Swimming and Musicians, the Fayre showcases the incredible diversity of experiences you can be part of during your time at university.
