Student Groups' Constitution

Created by Sam Baran, Modified on Fri, 22 Mar at 6:09 PM by Sam Baran

The Student Groups' Constitution is a key governing documents that outlines how Sports clubs and Societies should be governed. It provides the foundation for how Student Groups should operate, including information on areas such as Memberships, Elections and Democracy, and much more.

All Student Groups are required to have their own constitution, which the Students' Union team will work with you over the coming year. The Constitution we provide is designed to provide a basis for groups to have their own. Student Groups can add to the Constitution we provide, however must not remove or edit any of the information already existing. It must also be finalised by the Students' Union team and in some cases your relevant Sport Development Officer. Further information will be provided on this throughout the year.

If you have any questions on this or how the Constitution fits into the wider picture of governance of Student Groups please get in contact!
