If an incident occur in which a person, equipment or facilities get hurt or damaged, or if there was a near miss in which an incident could have occurred, that information should be written up and stored so that appropriate safety measures and improvements can be made to prevent an issue occurring in the future.
Attached to this article we've included a Near Miss and Incident Report Form for use of student groups.
Once the form has been completed it should be stored in the group's One Drive and shared with the Students' Union to be kept on record.
