Subject Rep | Cynrychiolydd Pwnc

Created by Hannah Manby, Modified on Fri, 1 Aug at 11:02 AM by Hannah Manby

About the role:

Subject Reps represent students’ interests at a subject level across a variety of channels. What this means is that they need to gather feedback about the issues that affect students on your course. This feedback is then given to the University and your School Reps, and reps are often involved in designing or implementing changes based on the feedback you present. Reps don't just collect academic feedback, they have helped improve catering and transport facilities for students as well.

How to become a Subject Rep?

Every course and every year group has at least one Subject Rep. You don't need any experience, just some enthusiasm and a desire to make things better for other students.
To become a subject rep you must complete the expression of interest form on the Students' Union Website. Make sure you're logged in and you will be contacted if you are successful with the position.
