There are many GP surgery's across Swansea available to students. Swansea university works closely with the following:
It is FREE to register with a local Doctor's Surgery and gives you access to see a GP when you are ill.
This means if you feel unwell or experience any mental, physical or sexual health issues while you are a student, you will be able to access local healthcare services.

Do I need to inform the University?
If your illness will affect your attendance, please, make sure that you notify your Faculty so that they can note your absence. You should also contact your Personal Tutor to let them know so you can discuss your options for your studies.
Please be aware that you may be asked to provide medical documents about your illness. These can usually be obtained from your GP.
Faculty Student Information / Experience Team
You can contact the Faculty Student Information / Experience staff who can offer practical advice, guidance, and signposting to appropriate services. They can also discuss the extenuating circumstances process with you should you need to use this.
