Personal Independence Payment is a welfare benefit that is intended to help people16 years and over, with a health condition or a disability who need extra help with daily living or mobility. You can apply for Personal Independence Payment if you are working or studying.

At the Advice & Support Centre we are able to provide professional, confidential guidance and support when making a claim for Personal Independence Payment (PIP). We understand the application and the process can be daunting, however, we are here to alleviate any concerns and to ensure the application is completed to the expectations of the Department for Work and Pensions.

We support students with the initial claim for PIP, ensuring that the supporting evidence is accurate. We are able to support students with sending the PIP claim form and offer guidance on how the DWP makes a decision. If you disagree with the decision, you can challenge it and we are also here to support you through this process.
