Student Groups' Code of Conduct

Created by Sam Baran, Modified on Fri, 3 May at 3:19 PM by Sam Baran

This Code of Conduct sets out the expected behaviour of members of Student Groups when participating in any activity or event, including when travelling to and from the activity, under the name of Swansea University Students’ Union (SUSU, referred to as the Union) or Swansea University or in which they could be identified as a member of SUSU or Swansea University.

It is designed to protect members, and others potentially affected by their actions, ensure the highest possible standards of competition, sportsmanship, fairness, honesty and behaviour in relation to the conduct of all Swansea University representatives.

If adhered to, the Code of Conduct will also serve to reduce the risk of harm and injury to members and the community in general. The Union and the Swansea University regard any breach of this Code as a serious matter and may take disciplinary action against an individual or group acting in breach of the Code.
