Any student group will be automatically classed as a society unless they further affiliate annually with Swansea University Sport.
What are the terms of affiliation?
Be a functioning student group for at least 1 year
Signed constitution
Club Schedules (to be completed by the end of 26/27)
Relevant Risk Assessments
Affiliation to NGB and completion of relevant documentation
Adherence to our financial management processes
Adherence to election time frames
Engagement with the handover process
Submission of core committee information
AGM timeframes and requirements
Adherence to the relevant Code of conducts
Adherence to brand guidelines
Adherence to use of kit supplier where possible
Adherence to compliance document
All members to purchase Swansea University Sport Membership by the 31st of October
All members to purchase applicable club and season fees by the 31st of October
How does a student group affiliate with Swansea University Sport?
All student groups that wish to affiliate as a club must complete the affiliation form and upload all necessary documents prior to the commencement of each season.
The 26/27 affiliation window has now closed, therefore new clubs will not be able to affiliate until May 2027.
