What is the Club Matrix?
The Club Matrix is a set of criteria that all clubs will be marked upon after submission of information and evidence. It gives SUS an annual ranking of clubs, with each year being marked independently. Although clubs are not obliged to complete everything on the Club Matrix, the more you complete or the higher the standard of completion, the more points you will be rewarded per criteria.

How do we submit our Club Matrix?
Clubs will be emailed a form to complete and submit evidence in support of each matrix criteria. This is usually done at two time points throughout the year- the 'Interim Matrix Submission' before Christmas, and the 'Final Matrix Submission' by the 30th June.
How is the Club Matrix scored?
Once the deadline has passed, each club's submission will be marked as per the scoring breakdown (see document below). Any relevant penalties will be deducted and the final score calculated before ranking clubs. This will be communicated to you via email once the whole process is complete, and can be discussed with your SDO.
If we do well in the Club Matrix, what further resource is available?
Further resource will vary from club-to-club dependant on what you as a club require. It could be in the form of funding, additional facility access, provision of transport, support for participation growth, etc.
What if my club finishes towards the bottom of the matrix?
Your club will be at risk of a reduction of funding or resource.
