Generally, up to £200 can be claimed per society for an employability related activity, such as networking and career events.
To access this you will need to complete this form as in-depth as possible: Careers and Employability Societies Grant

Things to consider when applying
- Please include as much information as possible to support your application.
- Be realistic in your funding request. Applications are decided on a case-by-case basis, so if the amount is unrealistic or the justification doesn't match the amount requested, this may hinder your application.
- Please produce a report along with photos, following the activity and send to Careers and Employability, so they know that the money has been put to good use and benefitted your society.
Following your application, The Careers and Employability team will be in contact to let you know the outcome along with further instructions of arranging the payment to successful applicants.
Spending your Funding
You must spend the funding for the purpose specified in your application within 3 months of being notified of the funding decision and in line with SUSU’s financial guidelines. If you do not, then this money will be reclaimed. If there is a change of plan and you wish to spend it on other events you must reapply.
