HEAR Awards for Student Group Committees

Created by Ronnie Kowalska, Modified on Thu, 16 May at 2:50 PM by Thomas Weller

The Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) is awarded to you at the same time as your degree certificate and includes information about module grades but also all extracurricular activities that you've been a part of. The HEAR is sometimes useful to share with employers as evidence of all your efforts! For committee members of student groups, there are three possible tiers to achieve; bronze, silver and gold.

Bronze

  • Submit the following information - full name, student number, student group name, and committee position for us to verify your time in post.

Silver

  • Bronze-tier requirements met
  • One personal written reflection on an experience you've learned from whilst being on your committee (See template below. Take extra care to rename all files appropriately).

Gold

  • Silver-tier requirements met
  • An additional written reflection on another experience during your time on committee highlighting different skills to the first.
  • Evidence of additional learning or qualification within your student group (e.g. coaching certificate, referee training, first aid training, food hygiene training, etc.)

To get your HEAR accreditation, please submit a ticket through our HelpDesk including the relevant information and documents listed below by close of play June 14th. You can do so either as individuals, or submit everyone's materials in one go for your whole committee.
